Today room 4 discussed that abstract art does not attempt to represent recognizable reality, but seeks to achieve its effect using differing shapes, lines, colors and textures. We critiqued Kandinskys art by comparing his abstract paintings. We looked for the descending series of circles, triangles and squares - as well as discussed what we saw, and shared the feelings that the paintings evoked.

We wanted to experiment on our own! We started to experiment, and create our own abstract art pieces.
