Wednesday after school marked the first meeting for Mentorship Club. We had a great first turn out! I would just like to add that we appreciated families getting forms back as quickly as they did. Mentorship Club will be held everyday after school until 4:30pm for those who brought in their permission forms.
Families! We are beginning our human body unit in Science. I have already collected several recycled food containers (ie. kraft dinner boxes, washed out yogurt containers etc). We will be looking at the nutritional value of the foods that we eat! If there are any cleaned out food containers in your recycling - please allow students to bring them to class!
I am also collecting old, lonely crayons... If your family knows that they will not be needing them, have your child bring them in to class! We will be working on a collective class creation of melting crayon art within the next month. We would appreciate any crayons that we can get!
